At Adya Hospice & Palliative Care, volunteers are an integral part of the hospice team. Volunteers contribute to the creation of a unique community of professionals  that provides compassionate and unparalleled quality care to those we serve. Each member of the team brings the gifts of experience, skills, ideas, insights, and wisdom that enable us to, collectively, provide the highest quality of service to the patients and families in our care. As a volunteer, you have the amazing opportunity to make a profound difference in the quality of life of individuals, and their families, who face terminal illness and death.

Hospice is about service. People caring for and about people. It continually challenges us to grow and experience life as we journey through with those whom we are privileged to serve. Hospice volunteering is at the heart of compassionate service. It is in acts of selflessness and kindness that we make the most impact in the lives of others.

We welcome you to Adya Hospice & Palliative Care family. We appreciate and welcome you no matter how you choose to serve—direct or indirect patient care. There are many service choices and ways to creatively fulfill your volunteer goal. Each area of service is a valuable contribution to our hospice team effort.
